Calling all Trail Hounds for a free dog-friendly hike Sunday December 18th 2005. Join Trail Hounds Jay and Nancy and the "Leash-Masters" Hiking Club on an appx. 7 mile loop in the Pisgah National Forest. Call toll free 866-DOG-PACK or locally 828-627-9630 for meeting times, information, or to demo any hiking gear. We will be hiking the Flat Laurel Creek Trail off of 215 to the Sam's Knob area and back on the Mountains-To-Sea Trail. We will stop mid-way for a snack and brew up some fresh ground coffee (French Press style). Afterwards we will be dining at the Mexican Joint in Bethel, NC. This hike is not too difficult and all are invited. There are waterfalls, ice formations, ample streams, and views on this hike-hope to see you and your dog(s) there.
