Sunday April 9th at 2 pm meet at Ferguson's Supply in Fines Creek for the "Haywood County Fitness Challenge-Dog Hike". Directions are north on Hwy. 209 towards Hot Springs and meet in the parking lot across from the gas pumps at Ferguson's Supply. From there we will travel to the trail head at Max Patch. Our hike will be an all abilitiy hike that is dog and kid friendly. The hike will be appx. 3 miles in length and have a few small hills to climb. This hike will be a chance to get out and enjoy nature and a stretch of the Appalachian Trail while getting some exercise and spending some quality time.
